Tour bus (living in America)
Tour bus (living in America)
In 2014 we toured America extensively. It’s a vast place, requiring long drives on a daily basis to make it work. So we stepped it up and got a tour bus for the first time. For me there was always something mythical about the home on wheels that is a tour bus. You go to sleep on the bus, you wake up on the bus, you live life on the bus for 4-6 week stretches. I’ve described it as a submarine on wheels. Tiny bunks, a kitchenette, a toilet and a few lounges. I love it. Here you see evidence that someone has gone for a jog where we were parked up and left their shoes to air and running clothes to dry on the windscreen wipers as we tried to continue the routines of life as best as possible on the road.
