The evil eye
The evil eye
We shot the film clip shoot for Southern Sun at an unknown (to us) location outside of Queenstown, NZ. We rode in helicopters, tried to look cool in front of the camera and tried in vain to stay warm. Most of the two days shooting was us being filmed doing individual scenes to be then cut together leading to the culminating shot of us miming our instruments together on a snow capped peak. It’s the most enjoyable clip we’ve done, and we were so lucky to get to see places that can only be gotten to via helicopter. And on top of that we got made to feel a bit like movie stars for 2 days, without any lines to learn. Here, again like movie stars, we reviewed the footage of the scene that had just been shot, but Dave caught me trying to shoot my own little still movie.
